The estate was founded in 1932 and, through ever-rising quality and modernisation, has seen respectable growth. The vineyards have a Mediterranean climate, tempered by the influence of the Mediterranean Sea. Clay and limestone in the soil have contributed to the quality of the wines. The vineyards of this family estate cover 1,750 hectares. Given the soil and the climate, the very best results come from the following grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
The growers (family businesses) have to meet very strict requirements and must, for example, play their part in preserving the waters of Thau.
