Words really fall short when it comes to describing this estate, and the ambition and craftsmanship of its founder Marius van Stokkom. An exceptional degree of perfectionism and expertise led, year after year, to the best wines the Netherlands has to offer.

Marius works as naturally and as sustainably as possible. They use no pesticides or insecticides, so insect life is protected. Leftover grape pulp is composted and spread over the land. Intensive pruning lets the sun and wind dry the grapes, giving fungal disease less of a chance.

The estate is now in the hands of Quirien and Rudy Schellekens. Marius is their loyal adviser.
