Maison de la Bretonnière
Fourteen hectares from the Charpentier brothers. Since 2025 the neighbours make the wine, with Pierre-Yves looking on.

The brothers Pierre-Yves and Patrice Charpentier are the fourth generation to live out their dream with real devotion: making pure wines. Pierre-Yves was the winemaker and Patrice took care of the other work. The work in the vineyards (just 14 ha) was done by both brothers. They had run the estate since 1989. Thanks in part to an enormous amount of winemaking knowledge, humour and perfectionism, the brothers manage to make a perfect wine year after year. The soil is predominantly clay, which contributes to the fresh character of their wines.
Since 2025 the growing of the grapes and the making of the wine have been taken over by the neighbouring estate Domaine des Loges. The winemakers are Gwénael and Benjamin Barre, but… Pierre-Yves still keeps an eye on things.
