Château Haut Breton Larigaudière
Fifteen hectares of gravel and sand at Soussans. Jean-Michel Garcion makes the wine here, as he does at La Croizille, Tayet and Tour Baladoz.

Next to Margaux lies the little village of Soussans, in the heart of the Médoc. That is where the château is based. The vineyards cover 15 hectares, with a topsoil of gravel and sand. The subsoil consists of gravel, sand and clay. Thanks to intensive pruning, the vines are in excellent condition. The vines have an average age of 15 to 20 years.
The owner of the château is Jacques de Schepper. The winemaker is none other than Jean-Michel Garcion. Thanks to the investments of recent decades, the château now ranks among the finest Cru Bourgeois châteaux of the Médoc: one of the most important regions in France to have brought French wine its name and fame.
